Pass First Driving School
1. LESSON BOOKINGS
* Lessons are booked in advance and confirmed by your instructor.
* Lesson time includes pick up and drop off unless agreed otherwise.
* Intensive courses must be paid for in advance before dates are secured.
2. PAYMENTS
* Payment must be made before or at the end of the lesson unless otherwise agreed.
* Block bookings are non-refundable once any lesson within the block has been used.
* Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice.
* Outstanding balances must be cleared before further lessons or driving test use.
3. CANCELLATIONS AND LATE NOTICE
* A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to cancel or rearrange a lesson.
* Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will be charged in full.
* Failure to attend a lesson without notice will result in the full lesson fee being charged.
* If the instructor cancels a lesson, an alternative lesson date will be offered.
4. LATE ARRIVALS
* If the pupil arrives late, the lesson will still finish at the agreed time.
* If the instructor is delayed, extra time will be added where possible or rearranged.
5. DRIVING TEST USE
* Use of the instructor’s car for a driving test is entirely at the instructor’s discretion.
* The instructor reserves the right to refuse use of the vehicle if they believe the pupil is not at test standard or if safety is a concern.
* Driving test fees paid to the DVSA are separate and non-refundable under DVSA rules.
* If a test is cancelled by the DVSA due to weather, examiner illness, or other reasons outside the instructor’s control, lesson and vehicle hire fees may still apply if the instructor’s time has been reserved.
6. FITNESS TO DRIVE
* Pupils must ensure they are legally fit to drive.
* Pupils must wear suitable footwear for driving lessons.
* Lessons will not take place if a pupil appears under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Full payment will still be charged.
* Pupils must carry their valid provisional or full driving licence when required.
7. SAFETY AND CONDUCT
* Abusive, aggressive, unsafe, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
* The instructor reserves the right to terminate a lesson immediately if safety or conduct becomes an issue.
* No smoking or vaping inside the tuition vehicle.
8. CONFIDENTIALITY AND DATA
* Personal information will only be used for lesson bookings, communication, and driving tuition purposes.
* Contact details will not be shared with third parties unless required by law.
9. REFUNDS
* Refunds for unused lessons are at the discretion of Pass First Driving School.
* No refunds will be issued for completed lessons.
* Promotional offers and discounted block bookings are non-transferable and non-refundable.
10. AGREEMENT
* Booking and attending lessons confirms acceptance of these terms and conditions.
* Pass First Driving School reserves the right to update these terms at any time.
